22 Days of Prayer through the New Year
22 Days of Prayer through the New Year with www.Time2Stand.com
What is 22 Days of Prayer through the New Year?
Simple, we will be praying and focusing on Psalm 119 for 22 days straight starting Jan. 1st, 2013. Prayer, introspection upon our walk and a turning unto God, 8 verses a day for 22 days.
What is the purpose?
With the days growing increasingly worse and extremely unsteady, we are going to turn our complete focus unto the Word of God and seek deeply in prayer the living Christ. The goal is to grow ourselves and encourage others to have a deeper passion and desire to know the One True God, to cherrish Jesus Christ, to dwell upon the very Word of God and continually long for Him, to be more sanctified, live more godly, to live out greater manifestations of the fruits of the Spirit and to be about the killing of our sin (Romans 8) – ultimately, to be more surrendered unto God.
How can I be a part of the 22 Days of Prayer?
You can either follow this blog: www.time2standblog.com or our facebook page at: www.facebook.com/atime2stand.
I will keep you posted as we draw near to the 1st of the year.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and I look forward to seeing what the Lord does in your life through the 22 Days of Prayer.
Here is our Christmas card/video/letter from my family to yours.

Bob Jennings has fallen asleep – Press on to Know Him
Bob Jennings fell asleep (1 Thes 4:14) at 11:53 am. today. To depart and be Christ is indeed so much better. I’ve been so encouraged to be able to see him press on day by day these last two months. He did not waiver in unbelief, but endured to the end. What an encouragement to those of us who are alive, may we die well when our hour comes. (Thanks to http://www.illbehonest.com)

Voting – What Should a Christian Do?
With the upcoming elections only two days away, the questions I have heard from many Christians are: Are you voting? If, so who will you vote for? Why? What should I do? Should I vote or not? Should I vote for a Mormon or not? Etc.
So, what should we do? Simple, we should always go to the Scriptures. Even more so, we should go to God, that is the God who gave His only Son, in much devoted prayer.
Below I have included a couple of short links, that I believe, are must listen to for every professing believer in Jesus Christ.
Listen to Mark Case’s message: Should Christians Vote for a Mormon
Hope that these links are a help to you who are still asking the prior questions.
Peace and blessings,

Prayer for Persecuted Christians
November is the month that we Pray for Persecuted Christians. Some churches choose this Sunday, Nov 4th and others Nov 11th, either way, this is the time to remember those who are suffering greatly for the sake of Jesus Christ and the Gospel.
Gospel for Asia has a wonderful video you can download and show to your churches, congregations, small groups, home fellowships, etc. You can also access GFA’s link via our Persecution Page, below.
You can visit our Time2Stand Persecution page here to learn more about the persecuted church. We have videos, links, and more. Be sure to get your FREE copy of, Tortured for Christ, by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand. Richard was tortured and imprisoned for over 14 years in Romania during the communist regime. You can also get your FREE pdf copy of my new E-book, Realities of a True Christian. One of the chapters is dedicated to the realites of Christian persecution for the true Christ follower.
Below, Brian Long gave this message last month at the Sermon Index Conference on the Coming Persecution. This is a very good message to watch, ponder, and pray through.
After showing the Gospel for Asia video to your church, I would suggest, of course be in prayer first, the video below, maybe towards the end of your service. These are our brothers and sisters in Christ who have and are suffering greatly.
***(I do caution you, that the videos you are going to see are a bit strong to accept, I assure you, the shows that are on TV are worse than these, so the excuse that these are too violent is not a valid excuse.)
